I have been starting on some of the interior touches.
Cabinets doors turned out to be a pretty good match.

Are you focused on keeping weight down as you build out the interior? We have an '83 Scotty and the interior is built using pretty lightweight stuff. We've thought about redoing parts of it, but I'm afraid that using household grade materials would lead to exceeding the axle capacity for weight!
ReplyDeleteMost everything I built inside was similar to the way the original was done....i.e. 1x2 frame work, 1/4 plywood etc.
DeleteThe walls were built a bit different but I doubt there is a lot of weight increase.
That being said.....I did upgrade my axle to a new 3,000 pound unit.
